Shared inbox
Stop guessing. Read what they actually said.
Most shoppers stay silent, and a lone star rating lost in analytics tells you nothing. Every response arrives with full question context — actionable feedback, not hunches. Unread items jump out, so your team can turn patterns into action and win back customers before they leave.

Why we cap campaigns at five questions — and nudge you toward open-ended ones. It's not an arbitrary limit. A widely-cited study in Public Opinion Quarterly ran an experiment on web surveys of different lengths and found two things worth knowing before you ask your customers anything.
- The longer the survey people expected, the fewer of them started it and the fewer finished — participation dropped as the stated length rose from 10 to 30 minutes.
- Answers to questions placed later in a survey were measurably faster, shorter, and more uniform — including shorter answers to open-ended questions — i.e. fatigue quietly degrades the quality of what people write the further in they get.
That's exactly why Tipoff keeps campaigns short (max five questions) and encourages open-ended prompts near the top: you collect the rich, unprompted feedback while your customer is still fresh, instead of burning their attention on question fourteen and getting a one-word shrug.
